One of our favourite things to do here, at teAlchemy, is mix up tea cocktails. We needed a little inspiration, so a few weeks ago, we headed to Beamsville, Ontario to visit Dillon’s Distillers.
Upon entering The Sipping Room at Dillon’s, gin and Provence were in the air. From the charming wood barrel product display to the glass bottle chandelier hanging above the bar, our senses were awakened and ready to blend. Talk about inspiration!
Geoff and Gary of Dillon’s took us on a tour of the facilities. Immediately afterwards, Lynda grabbed a seat at the bar, pulled out bags of tea, and began mixing up some tea cocktails using Dillon’s Gin, Vodka and Rye.
Dillon’s was thrilled with the harmony of teAlchemy products with theirs. On what it means to pair teAlchemy with Dillon’s, Whitney Rorison, Hospitality Manager, says, “it is so important to use and source local, seasonal ingredients when making our spirits, and it’s nice to see that Lynda shares that same philosophy when creating her tea blends.”
After a successful and tasty mixing session, we partnered up with Dillon’s to serve tea cocktails at their Sunday Brunch Al Fresco. On Sunday, August 25th, we set up in The Sipping Room and served up Berry Blast Tea Cocktails to lucky visitors spending their Sunday at Dillon’s.

“I think it’s great to see two producers, who share the same passion for what they do, come together to create a fun and unique offering like the Berry Blast Iced Tea cocktail featuring the Dillon’s Method 95 Vodka,” says Whitney, regarding how flavours of tea and spirits can work together.
The Berry Blast Iced Tea cocktail was nothing but fun and unique, and oh, so refreshing. We won’t spare another minute, here is the recipe: Berry Blast Iced Tea Cocktail.
