It’s Thanksgiving – the time of year where family members alike try to outdo each other with the stuffing, fixings et cetera.  While most people will think of tea as a post-dinner digestive aid – it’s important to know that it can also be YOUR secret ingredient to sprucing up dinner!

Our tea rub is made by blending ground tea leaves with spices such as cinnamon, ginger, anise, cloves and fennel seed to create a course powder.

teALCHEMY founder, Lynda Budd, imparted some tea lore in the realm of cooking – and natural fats really help extract the flavors of tea so rub it on!  What better no-cal way to add flavor to your Thanksgiving dinner than with a tea rub?!

Tea rubs can also be used to enhance flavours in braising liquids, soups, stews and chutneys.  So get creative in the kitchen and nip tradition in the bud – you may stumble across a new family favorite!

Happy Thanksgiving!
